A woodcutter is cutting wood by climbing a tree by the river. While chopping wood, suddenly English Story his ax falls into the river. As the river was deep, he could not go into the river and retrieve the axe. He gets sad and starts crying.

Seeing this, an angel comes from the river. He tells him not to worry. I give you your ax. The angel dives into the river and takes out a golden ax and says why is this your axe? Woodcutter says, no this is not my axe.

The angel again dives into the river and takes out a silver ax and says why is this your axe? Woodcutter says no. Then that angel takes out an iron axe. The woodcutter English Story now says that this is my axe. Happy to get the ax back. Seeing the honesty of the woodcutter, the angel is pleased with the woodcutter. He is rewarded with both gold and silver axes.
