Kashi Vishwanath Hindi Story Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga in India. It is located in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh. Kashi city is more important among all religious places. It is believed about this city that this place will remain the same no matter how big the trial comes. Vishweshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This form of Shankara is worshiped in Kashi. Earlier Varanasi Kashi was the Vishwanath temple. The main Vishwanath temple of Kashi was destroyed by the brutal invader Kulbuddin Able.

A mosque was built at Hindi Story the site of this temple. After years of neglect and prohibition by the Muslims, the temple was rebuilt by the proud king Tordamal during the reign of Akbar. But the cruel and fanatical Aurangzeb demolished this temple back. Ahilyabai Holkar built the Vishwanath temple there after many centuries passed like that.

Raja Ranjit Singh, a Hindu patriot, had its main pinnacle plated with gold. But he was plundered by the Muslims. It was here in the 16th century that Saint Eknath wrote "Srieknathi Bhagwat", the great treatise of the Varkari sect. Here, a procession was started on an elephant.
