English Story

Mayaram had two English Story small children. Their names were Sohan and Mohan. His wives died when his children were very young. But Mayaram never let his children feel less of a mother. He looked after all their wishes.

As time went on, the children also grew up. Mayaram got them married. Mayaram was now getting old. Old age is the root of many diseases. So Mayaram went to bed soon. He would cough all night. He would call out to his children for water, but no one would come near him.

Ailing Mayaram lay on the bed thinking, the children whom he had toiled all his life with sweat and blood to feed, were now unwilling to give him a glass of water. Many times he felt that both his children would make fun of him for anything he said. He used to beat his heart. Mayaram had seen the world. Finally he came up with a plan. One English Story day he called his elder son Sohan to him very lovingly, "Are you listening son?"

Sohn said in a very rough tone, "What is it?"

Mayaram said, "Son! I am only a guest for a few days. You are my eldest and dearest son. Before I die, I am going to tell you a secret. Earnings are buried. After me, you take it away, and yes, this story." Don't even accidentally tell anyone."

The next day Mayaram saw his little son Mohan alone and told him about the buried money and also told him not to tell anyone.

Mayaram's trick started to work. Now both his sons and daughter-in-law would run to Mayaram even when he sneezed. If he asked for water, he would give milk.
