The Man, His Son, and the Donkey English Story

 

English Story

Once upon a time, there was a man and his son who were traveling to a distant village with their donkey. The man decided to ride the donkey while his son walked alongside. As they went along, they passed by a group of people who looked at them and started to mutter amongst themselves.

"Look at that selfish man, making his poor son walk while he rides the donkey!" they said.

The man felt embarrassed and decided to switch places with his son. Now the son was riding the donkey, and the man walked. As they continued their journey, they came across another group of people.

"Just look at that! The young boy is riding while his old father has to walk. What a disgrace!" they exclaimed.

Hearing this, the man thought they should both ride the donkey to avoid further criticism. So, they both climbed onto the donkey and continued their journey. Soon, they encountered another group of people.

"How cruel! Two people riding one donkey. That's too much weight for the poor animal!" they shouted.

The man and his son were perplexed and decided that neither of them should ride the donkey. They both got off and walked alongside it. As they walked through another village, people started laughing at them.

"How foolish! They have a donkey, yet they are walking!" the people mocked.

By this point, the man and his son were thoroughly confused. No matter what they did, someone always criticized them. Feeling frustrated, they decided to carry the donkey on their shoulders instead. As they approached the market, everyone burst into laughter at the absurd sight.

In trying to please everyone, the man and his son ended up looking ridiculous and making their journey much harder than it needed to be.

Moral of the Story:

You can't please everyone. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who criticizes. It's important to make decisions based on your own judgment and values, rather than trying to satisfy the opinions of others.

 Marathi Story   एक उंदिरमामा होता. तो रस्त्याने जात असताना याला एका फडके सापडते.ते फडके जरा खराब  Marathi Story   झाले होते म्हणून उंदीरमामा एका धोब्याकडे जातात.आणि त्या धोब्याला म्हणतात धोबिदादा,धोबीदादा माझे एक काम करा न मला हे फडके धुवून द्या ना .धोबिदादा उंदीरमामाला फडके धुवून देतात.आता उंदीरमामा जातात शिंप्याकडे ‘शिंपीदादा,शिंपीदादामला या फडक्याची एक सुंदर टोपी शिवून द्या कि आणि तिला छानशा रंगीत गोंडा हि लावा. शिंप्यादादाने उंदिरमामाला गोंड लावून छानशी टोपी बनवून दिली. उंदीरमामा टोपी डोक्यात घालून हातात एक ढोलके घेतले आणि वाजवत माझी टोपी राजाच्या  English Story   टोपीपेक्षारा छान.ढुम,ढुम,ढुमक ! राजाने हे ऐकले लगेच राजाने शिपायांना म्हणाला ‘जा त्या उदिरला माझ्यासमोर पकडून आणा. शिपायांनी उंदिरला पकडले आणि राजाकडे आणले राजाने त्याची टोपी काढून घेतली. मग  Hindi Story  उंदिरमामा म्हणाला माझी टोपी घेतली.’राजा भिकारी,’राजा भिकारी, ढुम,ढुम,ढुमक !’हे ऐकून राजा रागावला त्याने उंदीरमामा ची टोपी खाली  फेकली आणि उंदीरमामा ने ती घेतली आणि म्हणाला राज...
