Sadhus and Yakshas English Story

A sadhu was sitting in English Story a secluded place for penance. A Yaksha lived in that place. Sadhu had no idea about this. When he reached there, seeing a deserted place, he started meditation there. Yaksha was not there at that time. When the Yaksha came there at night, he was angry to see another person in his place. He started shouting loudly, but it had no effect on the monk who was in a state Hindi Story of trance. The Yaksha then took the form of an elephant and tried to frighten them. But it had no effect on those who were meditating. Then the Yaksha took different forms and tried to scare the Sadhu.

Even if he sometimes takes the form of wild animals like tiger, lion, deer, fox, there is no break in the meditation of the sadhu. At last he disguised himself as a poisonous snake and bit them, but it did not seem to have any effect on them. Even after so many efforts, the monk was Marathi Story not affected, so the Yaksha, exhausted by the hard work, began to rest in the form of a snake. In a short time the sadhus' state of trance was completed and they woke up and their eyes fell on the serpent-shaped Yaksha. That look was so full of love that the poison in the snake's body became nectar with that grace. The Yaksha surrendered to the sages and offered them respectful obeisances.

Meaning : One can win over anyone with concentration, affection and love.
