English Story A man sold his well to his neighbor. When the new owner went to draw water from the well, the first owner of the well would not let him fill it with water. The surprised new English Story owner asked him, 'Oh! I bought your land by paying full price, why don't you let me fill it with water?' The old owner said, 'I have only sold you the well. I have not sold any of the water in it. So you have no right to that water at all.' Angered by this strange argument, the new owner of the well went to court.
